These terms govern your use of Sanad, operated as a sole proprietorship by Vishal Rane. By using this site to create a document, you agree to them.
Who can use Sanad
You must be at least 18 years old and of sound mind to create a Will or Power of Attorney through this platform. You're responsible for the accuracy of everything you enter — the legal validity of your document depends on the information being true and your own.
What Sanad is — and isn't
Sanad is a software platform that helps you draft your own legal documents using guided, structured templates. Sanad is not a law firm, and using it does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Nothing generated by this platform is legal advice. Your document is reviewed for structural and drafting completeness, not as a substitute for independent legal counsel on your specific circumstances — where the platform suggests professional review (for example, unusual assets, disputes among heirs, or property across multiple states), take that seriously.
Pricing and payment
A Will costs ₹500, and a Power of Attorney costs ₹349 — shown upfront, no hidden charges. These prices do not currently include GST, as Sanad is not yet required to be GST-registered. Payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway; we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your account credentials confidential, and to use Sanad only to generate documents for yourself or someone you're legally authorized to act for. Generating a document doesn't make it legally effective — you're responsible for correctly signing, witnessing, and (where relevant) registering it, following the guidance provided in the app.
Intellectual property
The Sanad platform, its templates, and its software are owned by us. The specific document generated for you, based on the information you provided, is yours to use.
Limitation of liability
Sanad provides drafting tools, not legal advice, and we make no guarantee that a document you generate will withstand every possible future legal challenge — that depends heavily on facts only you control (your own circumstances, and how the document is signed, witnessed, and executed). To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for that document.

Termination
You may stop using Sanad and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, or if we're required to by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
